About Us

Cavalier Garages was founded in 1980 by Rob Harris who remains the director of the garage to this day.

Rob started his apprenticeship in 1974 at a British Leyland dealership before starting up Cavalier Garages in 1980. As the business expanded, Cavalier Garages moved to larger premises in 1997 and then became an MOT testing station which was one of Rob’s key ambitions since starting the business.

Cavalier Garages is a local independent garage in the Greater Manchester area (5 minutes from the Trafford Centre). We have a small workforce knowledgeable in their field and our emphasis has always been on customer satisfaction. We serve customers from all over Greater Manchester including Stretford, Urmston, Eccles and Salford. We have customers who have been with us since Cavalier Garages was founded back in 1980 which we believe is a testament to the quality of service we provide.
